We are looking for a Accounting Relationship Coordinator for our facility in St-Bruno, Quebec. Bombardier provides state-of-the-art systems that enable rail vehicles to operate at increased speed and track capacity without compromising the very high safety standards. In addition, Bombardier is developing applications that will lead to an environmentally friendly driving style, heightening our environmental contribution and provision of value based solutions to our customers. Your Role A major aspect of this role will be to understand and address expectations of key stakeholders within the business, and provide support to the Country Head of Accounting & Reporting to manage all relationships between the Controlling community and the Finance Shared Services Center (SSC). Both confident and a strong communicator, this role will require an in-depth understanding of the Finance processes, a strong Finance generalist with a flair for Information Technology who will help ensure the country A&R function achieves its deliverables in a timely and consistent manner. Your Challenges Stakeholder Management With Country Head of A&R clearly identify key stakeholders and with Country Head of A&R agree a forum for dialogue to understand and address stakeholder expectations. Ensure all stakeholders (existing and new) are aware of and have a clear understanding of how to use the Finance ‘Communication Tool’ and arrange for training as and when necessary. Be the country Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for issues regarding the ‘Communication Tool’ including daily management, deployment and utilization. Ensure all stakeholders have a clear understanding of the SLA/OLA/KPI deliverables and their role and responsibility. Process Execution & Improvement Follow SLA/OLA/KPI performance and review these with Country Head of A&R and agree areas for performance improvements. Feedback any process failures to Process Agent and together suggest actions for process failure settlements/improvements to be agreed with Head of Country A&R and (Central) Process Team. Together with ‘central’ Process Team and the local Process Agent, implement any actions agreed to address process failures and communicate updates/changes to key stakeholders. Compliance Monthly financial statements analysis. Ensure all actions are in line with internal and external compliance requirements and expectations. People & Organization For all direct reports, conduct performance Management Process (PMP) reviews, identify individual training and development plans and ensure the department is sufficiently staffed at all times. Qualifications The ideal candidate will: Bachelor degree in Finance. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role plus 3 to 4 years of working experience as a finance generalist. Certified Accountant title will be a strong asset. Demonstrate strong leadership and management skills. Excellent communication in English and French, written and oral. Flexibility to travel internationally.
