We are looking for a Controller for our Mississauga office Your Role The incumbent is responsible for entire finance controlling of the Business Unit Services. He/she ia also responsible to control manage and report the performance BTNA (budget and forecasting, actuals, business processes & special projects) according to trade laws and company regulations. He/she is supporting the BU Vice-President by providing quality & timely information for business decision making and provide early warning to ensure the delivery of committed results. Your Challenges Finance Strategy Supporting the Business Unit Vice-President in business reviews, all financial analysis and financial implications for decision to be taken; Implement BTNA finance Strategy in line with overall BT strategy and Finance mission. Improve the time and quality of service that Finance provides to the business; Develop Financial Strategy of the Business Unit and Financial Evaluation of the Business Strategy. Defining together with the BU management the BU future scope of business with regards to Sales, Margins, industrial footprint, localizations, etc.; Present a transparent financial situation to BU management; Provide early warning to allow accurate, timely information for business decision making; Initiation, implementation and follow up of action plans and measures with respect to improvement of actual results; Initiate regular business reviews, evaluation of risk & opportunities etc.; Support M&A, re-organization and restructuring activities. Financial controlling & Financial Governance Control and oversight BU exercises of strategic plan, budget & forecast to ensure accurate monitoring of business developments; Validation of actual results and ensures that major budget variances are quickly identified analyses and corrective actions initiated; Coordinate financial section of BU MOR reviews; Presentation of financial results to BT Group and Business Unit Management; Communicate early warnings and recommend corrective actions with respect to the issues highlighted to ensure delivery as per committed results; Manage and ensure OSC compliance and ensure alignment to Bombardier rules and accounting policies; Coordinate with E&Y for all closing activities. People development. Develop a network of cross functional and cross locations teams; Ensure succession planning; Ensure appropriate staffing and training & development of key performers in direct report (Project Controller/ Site& Business Controller). Lead Bid controlling Ensure consistency of the process across division. Support the Blue Book process; Accurate and valuable assessment and review of bids; Transparency in communication. Qualifications Your Experience and Qualifications Bachelor of Finance degree and/or any relevant professional related qualification; Minimum of 5 years of controlling experience; Experience in a similar responsibility, working in an international environment; Highly developed understanding of Finance/ Controlling processes and tools; Excellent English communication skills, French will be considered as an asset; This position will require frequent traveling in North America.
