We are looking for an Electrical Designer for our Saint-Bruno (QC) facility. You will assist the integration team in performing detailed studies and designing or developing part of the electrical diagrams for the product based on standards and the features required. In your role as an Electrical Designer, you will: Develop the first drafts of technical solutions to meet functional, performance and maintenance requirements from basic instructions (sketches, technical descriptions, block diagrams, etc.), from engineering, client standards and general specifications or standards; Integrate electrical diagrams and follow up on required design elements; Design general or partial assemblies that reflect the plants manufacturing capacity; Develop specific assembly mechanisms; During manufacture, verify the conformity of parts or assemblies with drawings and reciprocal compatibility, and make corrections if necessary; Check the validity of the proposed solutions with the other departments involved; Prepare average-case complexity analyzes to confirm that the technical solutions chosen meet the clients performance requirements; Monitor the production of drawings and provide instructions to draughtsmen as needed. Qualifications As our ideal candidate, you possess: A Technical College Degree in engineering; 2 to 5 years of experience in electrical design; Experience in the manufacturing industry; Knowledge of rail norms and standards (asset); Proficiency with French and English (written & spoken).
