For over thirty years Bombardier has been successfully doing business with GO Transit in Toronto. We are currently recruiting for Customer Service Ambassadors-On-Board GO Trains

Concretely the incumbent will have the following responsibilities:

1. Responsible for troubleshooting, analysis, fault detection and repair of coach and locomotive electrical systems, sub-systems and components.
2. Perform modifications from drawings, prints or electrical systems on coaches and locomotives as assigned;
3. Test and download event recorder on laptop computer.
4. Megger reading for insulation test.
5. Locomotive, coach and cab car preventive maintenance at PM together with Mechanical Technician, and Equipment Maintainer.
6. Change out 575 volt receptacles and permanent wiring within the coach or locomotive.
7. Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

1. Grade 12 or equivalent;
2. Electrical diploma from an accredited technical school or equivalent experience;
3. Skilled in troubleshooting techniques and a complete understanding of electrical testing equipment;
4. Familiarity with AC and DC power and control systems and HVAC systems;
5. Capable of reading and understanding electrical drawings and maintenance manuals;
6. Capable of using computers and computer control systems;
7. Must possess a valid Ontario drivers license;
8. Must prove capabilities through the successful completion of applicable test(s) and examination(s).
