To support our development, we are looking for a: Position Title: Group Lead, Site Quality Location: Toronto Reporting to: Director, Quality Engineering To manage the quality assurance activities on multiple projects, from Notice to Proceed (NTP), to product acceptance by the customer. Your main responsibilities are: Create/Approve the contractual quality requirements submittals and ensure the integration of these requirements into the project documents. Determine the Site Quality objectives for each project, based on the specific project/customer requirements. Ensure adequate staffing for Site Quality is deployed at sites Supervises and enforces processes implementation at site: installation, inspections, configuration management Responsible to plan and schedule workload for Site Quality functional areas Generates training plans for Site: Site Quality staff, contractors/ partners/ customers Generates Site Quality Assurance Plans, Inspection and Test Plans required Participates and generates Inspection and Test reports as required Identify non-conformance on products received at Site Responsible for the implementation of the HW Failure Reporting, assess for commonality in failures reported from all sites Support the Material Review Board Meetings for failures reported from site Provide technical support on site quality control related issues to other disciplines Interface with Customer Quality Assurance Representatives and Customer Auditors Identify Site Quality issues, and implement corrective and preventative actions. Conducts audits, monitors the effectiveness of the Site Quality and proposes process improvements with respect Site Quality Ensure the audit schedule has been communicated to project team members Ideally you have: B.Sc Electrical Engineering or equivalent At least 8 years experience in engineering environment coupled with 5+ years experience in quality assurance Excellent interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills Experience in railway signalling systems an asset Excellent command of the English language both verbal and written We offer: An attractive compensation package and benefits.
