We are looking for a Maintenance Clerk for our Toronto facility Your Role This position needs to work independently to open work orders and provide timely input of completed jobs. They need to be detail orientated and organized due to the high amounts of paper that is generated and handled on this position. Your Challenges Generate equipment inspection sheets, inspection labour hours log sheet, and defect booking sheets; Book parts need to be back ordered and follow-up, coordinate status from Purchasing and Materials; Generate repair work orders designated and unscheduled with corresponding forms attached; Monitor outstanding defects and advise Supervisor. Ensure all resolved defects are closed in the system for equipment inspections; Develop and update spread sheets for various equipment replacement programs, modification programs, utilization and running time, man hours spent per equipment event; Closed all completed inspection and repair work orders validating labour and material charges. Qualifications Your Experience and Qualifications Grade 12 or college diploma is required; Understanding of mechanical terms and equipment; Excellent English communication skills; Must be available to work on all shifts on rotation, Monday through Friday.
