We are looking for a Manager, Quality Assurance and Control to work in our Thunder Bay, Ontario facility.

Your Role:

Under the direction of the Director of Quality Assurance you will be responsible to develop, implement and maintain an effective Quality Assurance Program for the manufacture of components and transit products. You will also be in charge of providing direction to Quality Assurance personnel.

Your Challenges and Responsibilities:
Interfaces with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Management and Technical Services, as well as other related functions to achieve high quality products.
Plans and implements established quality assurance programs, updating as necessary to comply with new specification and contractual obligations.
Demonstrates full knowledge of ISO Standards and understanding of all applicable railway standards.
Develops product quality yields, audits, surveillance, certification systems, quality plans, schedules and budget forecasts.
Establishes and performs Cost of Quality analysis and NCR Procedures.

Qualifications

Your Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Engineering will be preferred (Electrical or Mechanical). Other field of study will also be considered with relevant experience in Quality Assurance.
PEO certification will be considered a strong asset.
Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience working in a manufacturing and quality system environment is mandatory.
Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
This position will require 25% travel internationaly, for example one week every month.
