We are looking for a Manager, Health, Safety and Environment for our Mississauga facility Your Role Responsible for the development, implementation, coordination and audit of the Health, Safety and Environmental Systems, programs and policies for Maintenance & Operations, Material Solutions and Overhaul Sites for BTNA Services to achieve an effective, compliant and continously improving system. Your Challenges Oversees the administration, implementation, and enforcement of all Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures, and processes that have been distributed throughout BTNA Services. Implementation and verification of OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 HSE Management Systems. Audit and participate in accident and injury investigations, facility inspections, and risk assessments. Support Site managers and HSE coordinators with programs, communications and processes in alignment with Corporate HSE policy and practices. Responsible for auditing and dvelopment of HSE training programs. Also, develop procedures, controls and training for chemcial use, physcial exposure, spill response and waste disposal consistent with Federal, State and Local regulations. Establish audit procedures to ensure legal compliance with all government agencies as well as compliance with the operating authorities health,safety and environment requirements. Provide direct interface with regulatory agency representatives and site management during all health, safety, and environmental assessments or audits. Work with outside agencies such as OSHA, FTA, FRA, DOT and insurance providers. Qualifications Your Experience and Qualifications Bachelors degree in Industrial Relations, Hygiene, Environment or equivalent experience. A minimum of 2 to 4 years of related HSE experience. Knowledge of railway regulations (FRA, MTQ) would be considered as a strong asset. Excellent English communication skills.
