We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer, Dynamic to work in our facility in St-Bruno, South shore of Montreal, Quebec.

Your Role:

Under the supervision of the manager, the incumbent will work on analysis, simulations and testing of cars for dynamic performance validation.

Your Challenges and Responsibilities:
Analysis: Responsible of validation of the car clearances in tunnel, open areas and undercar equipment; validation of CG calculations; validation of compliance with technical specifications for car dynamics requirements. Might also perform noise analysis.
Simulations: Most simulations will be performed on multi-body dynamic modelling softwares like VAMPIRE and SIMPACK. Might also perform noise simulations.
Testing: Preparation and execution of all testing regarding vibrations and dynamic of the car, on the production sites, as well as at the customer sites. May also be involved in noise testing.
Preparing plans, procedures, reports: Will prepare, update and follow-up on testing procedures, dynamics analysis reports, and tests reports. May also be involved on the noise budget plan, procedure and report.

Qualifications

Your Experience and Qualifications:
Master degree in mechanical engineering will be preferred, ideally in the field of vibrations, dynamics.
Member of the OIQ.
5 to 7 years of relevant experience, experience in acoustics will be considered as an asset.
Knowledge of SIMPACK software will be a strong asset.
Knowledge of test data processing using software like n-Code Glyphwork, Labview or Mathcad is an asset.
Bilingualism in English and French (both written and spoken).
Available to travel internationally at the Customers site for tests, and BTNA production sites (20-30%).
