We are looking for a Project Control Manager for our Kingston (ON) facility.

You will provide management and technical guidance in cost engineering, planning and scheduling and project management office (PMO) activities including the training, auditing, mentoring and coaching of staff working in these disciplines. You will also prepare technical standards, guidelines, and implement the procedures for preparing budgets and forecasts and planning/scheduling functions.

In your role as a Project Control Manager, you will:
Responsible for Standard Project Code, Chart of Accounts, cost and schedule integration;
Act as a lead and mentor for all project schedulers/planners and engaged in regional projects;
Develop and communicate, with Project Management, the uniformity standards for schedule structure and activity coding across all projects;
Manage and provide status reporting to the project Manager/Director(s) relating to cost control including reconciliations, budget control and forecasting with support and input from the project controller;
Lead the change control process for scope change, material, engineering control;
Schedule milestone summary schedule, Detail Project Schedule(DPS), progress and performance curves and schedule claims analysis;
Identify risk and opportunities and margin enhancement;
Estimate most probable costs;
Develop mitigation plans.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate, you possess:
A Bachelors degree in Engineering or Business;
Minimum of ten years of detailed project scheduling, planning, controls experience;
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Manager in project environment;
Experience in transit, manufacturing or construction project management.
