Job Description As the Project Manager your respnsibilities will include, but not be limited to: - Accountable for implementation and management of assigned transit project(s) from inception, planning, design, procurement and construction through commissioning to completion. - Acts a client representative to exercise/delegate authority in the management of assigned work. - Controls delivery of the assigned project(s) in accordance with established budget, scope, schedule and quality assurance requirements. - Directs and coordinate the efforts of a multi-disciplinary team (consultants, contractors, suppliers); - Supervises and coordinates activies of the project team. Candidate Specification As the successful candidate, you meet the following criteria: - A civil engineering degree and have a minimum of 15+ years experience. - Registered as a P.Eng. in the Province of Ontario. PMP designation would be an asset. - Worked within an integrated client/consultant team. - Managed capital works project in excess of USD 50 million (Cdn). - Managed project teams and provided key stakeholder coordination. - Managed consultants, procurement, design, construction and commissioning. - Strong leadership and negotiation skills. - Strong oral communication and report writing skills. - Be a self-starting individual with a high degree of professionalism and strong client focus. - Transit related experience would be an asset.
