PB is a global market leader offering skills and resources in management consulting, planning , engineering, program/construction management and operations for all modes of infrastructure including transportation (with particular strength in rail transit) power and water.

The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) and the City of Toronto are planning a new Light Rail Transit (LRT) route. This USD 10 billion program consists of 100km of light rail transit with about 13 km in tunnels. There a total 95 stops including 12 underground stations.


An experienced Project Manager is required. The Project Manager will be accountable for implementing and managing assigned project(s) from inception, planning, design, procurement and construction through commissioning to completion.

An ability to both exercise and delegate authority in managing assigned work is critical, as is a responsibility for the delivery of assigned projects in accordance with the Commissions budget, scope. schedule and quality assurance requirements. PMs will also supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned project team members.



Requirements: The Project Manager will be certified as Ontario Professional Engineers or possess a similar professional designation and should have the following job experience.

1. Approximately 15 years in project management
2. Management of capital work projects in excess of USD 50 million
3. Management of project teams/ professionals
4. Management of scope/ budget schedule issues
5. providing key stakeholder coordination
6. management of multiple, concurrent projects
7. Essential transit-related experience
8. Beneficial LRT related experience
9. Underground / tunnel construction
10.City infrastructure
11. Management of consultants, procurement, design, construction and
commissioning
12.Management within an intergrated client / consultant team organization.
