We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager for our Thunder Bay (ON) facility. Under the direction of the Director of Quality Assurance, you will be responsible of developing, implementing and maintaining an effective Quality Assurance Program for the manufacturing of components and transit products. You will also provide direction to Quality Assurance personnel. In your role as a Quality Assurance Manager, you will: Interface with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Management and Technical Services, as well as other related functions to achieve high quality products; Plan and implement established quality assurance programs, updating as necessary to comply with new specification and contractual obligations; Demonstrate full knowledge of ISO Standards and understanding of all applicable railway standards; Develop product quality yields, audits, surveillance, certification systems, quality plans, schedules and budget forecasts; Establish and perform Cost of Quality analysis and NCR procedures. Qualifications As our ideal candidate, you possess: A Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; 5 to 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance; Experience in a management role; Experience in a manufacturing or quality system environment; Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
