Job Description
Description The primary duties of the Section Manager is the responsibility for operations of the Rail Transit Systems section, including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support. Will function as a project manager and production on projects in addition to management responsibilities. Will be administratively responsible for the section staff and technical service functions and will lead and coordinate services with other sections. Will be involved in marketing planning, proposals and interviews. Responsibile to see that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through a pro-active project management system. Will work cooperatively with National Directors and marketing in local and national marketing and production efforts. Strong experience in project & staff management for rail, rail transit systems and infrastructure projects. Ability to assist with marketing HDRs rail transit and rail transit systems capabilities in New York area. 15+ years management experience in large rail systems projects. Strong communication and listening skills. Ability to handle multiple assignments. Good leadership and organizational skills.
