Job Description
Job Description : • Prepare pre-design phase concept estimates, design phase budget estimates and procurement phase funding estimates • Develop conceptual and detailed engineering and construction schedules for various projects • Resource and cost-load schedule for tracking engineering and construction deliverables • Review contractors baseline CPM schedules and assist in approval process • Attend periodic job progress meetings when requested • Monitor progress of work in the field and verify accuracy of contractors monthly schedule updates showing such progress when requested. • Track and document schedule impacts and assist with delay claim analysis • Communicate the reasons for schedule variances and propose work-around plans to Project Management • Provide management, project team and clients with clear, timely and accurate information relating to schedule and resourcing issues • Provide check estimates of General Contractors Change Order proposals • Liaise with remotely located offices to ensure correct data used for control, reporting and forecasting. • Assemble data for trending and forecasting including written analysis • Provide narrative analysis when required • Interact with clients, resident engineers, contractors and subcontractors • Be a functional expert in the use of Primavera and other planning products • Coordinate with others in the ongoing enhancement of project controls software tools • Train other staff in the use of Critical Path Scheduling software • Other duties as assigned.
