We are looking for aSystem Analyst - Control system, Train Control Management System (TCMS) for our Saint-Bruno (QC) facility.



Under the supervision of the Project Engineer, you will work closely with colleagues to design, develop and test the Wayside Train Control Management System (WTCMS), which is used to support the operation and maintenance of rail fleets from the control centre. As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will also facilitate the development and integration process of the WTCMS jointly with stakeholders such as suppliers, designers and engineering departments.





In your role as a System Analyst - Control system, TCMS, you will:

Based on requirements, the specifications of internal or external clients, and in compliance with mandatory standards, perform complete and detail studies, defines the architecture and identifies requirements, drafts technical documents and carries out mandates assigned by the Project Engineer;
Participate in technical document reviews;
Prepare documents to be submitted to clients and suppliers;
Perform test procedures and reports, oversee their implementation and perform required analyses and study reports;
Briefly assess manufacturing costs to steer the development of assigned projects;
Perform on site tasks related to the qualification and operation of the system.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate, you possess:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent;
Minimum 2 years of experience in systems engineering and product development;
Knowledge in information systems and information technology (IS/IT);
Experience in networking and software deployment;
Knowledge in databases and information system security;
Excellent English and French communication skills (written and spoken).
