We are looking for a Technologist, Quality Assurance Test to work in our Thunder Bay, Ontario facility. Your Role: Reporting to the Manager, Quality Assurance; is responsible for supporting all car testing activities with procedures, test equipment and calibration. Your Challenges and Responsibilities: Develop test procedures and reports for the Testing and Engineering department. Maintain and calibrate test equipment used by the Production and Engineering department. Build special test equipment for the production and Test department. Maintain current knowledge of new instrumentation technology and select/recommend equipment for purchase. Support all Car Qualification Testing as required. Responsible for following company Health and Safety policy and procedures. Ensures that all safe conditions and practices are reported to your supervisor for corrective action. Qualifications Your Experience and Qualifications: Post secondary education and obtained Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) with electrical designation is mandatory. 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience. We are willing to provide technical training for this position, tehrefore we are looking for someone with the ability to learn quickly and accurately our procedures. The candidate must have strong troubleshooting skills and understand the testing of complex systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. A second language will be an asset. This position will require 10% travel internationaly, for example travel to customer sites for training, testing or other related activities.
