Job Description
Job Description Our client is looking for a site agent based in Manchester who will be responsible for the supervision and performance of subcontractors or directly employed staff. Duties will be produce procurement schedules for the contractor supplied materials and plant, responsible for supervision and performance of subcontractors and directly employed staff, responsible for the supervision and on site development of junior staff, set project accountabilities for junior staff and liaise with designers/client/line managers to resolve technical issues on site. Responsibilities will include the understanding and implement all safety systems, understand cost and value management and advice operational and commercial staff, monitor construction outputs, understanding of contract conditions. The individual must have worked within a rail and/or civils background, have excellent man-management skills, personal development, promoting and sharing learning, performance under pressure, team player, willingness for ownership and the knowledge of different conditions of contract and the commercial principles that apply- lump sum, remeasurable BoQ, GMP, Target Cost and schedule of rates.
